With MS, every step counts!

Published April 25, 2015

Meriwest was proud to support the National MS Society by participating in their annual Walk MS on April 25 at Vasona Park in Los Gatos.

Walk MS is a day that brings friends, families, and coworkers together to embrace an important cause.

We choose to support the MS Society because of 1) their commitment to those whose lives have been impacted by multiple sclerosis and 2) one of our employees, Marlene, has a family member that lives with this disease. So committed to making a difference, Marlene herself raised $2,000, making the MS Society's list of 'Elite 100 Walkers!'

The day was filled with lots of fun - from the motivational dancer they provided for warm-up (missed his name, but his energy level was crazy, especially at 7:30 in the morning) to all sorts of walkers - two legged, four legged, even a few birds joined in (you had to see it).

We passed our team fundraising goal by 36%, raising $3,395 to support this cause and every step was well worth it.  Knowing that the money raised will go people in need, receiving personal support, transportation, chairs, and education as a result of our participation, is incredibly rewarding.

Every step matters. Every dollar counts. Every person makes a difference!

If you are passionate about studying abroad, then US is the best choice. US has some of the best universities.
You may have to spend quite a sum on the education but holding MS from states is every one’s dream.
And they say good things come with little tags. A master’s in engineering focuses on special fields like mechanical,
computer science, civil etc.
